resident of Shrewsbury, NJ,
mezzo soprano Melissa Juska
is well known in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas for her oratorio and sacred
concert performances. A
versatile performer, she also
performs with The Night on Broadway
Company as well as operatic venues.
She has performed with the North
Jersey Symphony (Maddelena in
Rigoletto, Second Lady in The Magic
Flute), the
Bloomfield
Federation of Music (Mother in Amahl
and the Night Visitors) and Opera
Festival of New Jersey. Some of her
other recent operatic performances
include Mama Lucia in Mascagni’s
Cavaleria Rusticana, Dorabella in
Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, Adalgisa in
Bellini’s Norma, La Zia Principessa
in Suor Angelica and the title role
of Carmen. She is a regular guest
artist with the Ocean Grove Concert
Band performing in The Great
Auditorium, Ocean Grove, NJ as well as on various local church concert
series. Melissa is a graduate
of Bucknell University.
